One way is to make sure that the reference point on the module is the
centre of the first pin rather than somewhere in the module.

Breadboard is normally 0.1 pitch so you should not really have any
problems. The headers are also normally set out on a 0.1 pitch, and the
centre reference is often on a 0.05 pitch. If that is so then set your
main grid to 0,05 and you will be able to adjust things as needed.

I don't recall needing to do anything special to get headers to align
with breadboards.
