New to the group, and to Kicad. Trying to see if I should migrate from Eagle. I was looking for an overview of how to create a board from a schematic, creating a component and a footprint along the way. I have located a bunch of great looking pdf's, but so far I haven't been able to locate the how-to's an entry person might find useful. It appears that the docs that I have found will be an extraordinary asset once I have some of the basics under my belt. Maybe these entry level how to's don't exist, in which case I will quit looking.
So how should I phrase my search needs such that I might get a helpful response?
