I've built the various components of Kicad on my Mac (10.6.1) and copied the ".app" files into my applications folder.
However there are lots of places where it expects to find libraries and module files etc and I have to tell it where these are each time. Under windows, everything seems to be located in a root directory and sub-directories under that. I don't know where the default place for such things are under Unix and whether or not it is the same for OS X (Unix doesn't create ".app" bundles which the Mac version does - so other things may be different) Is there a "default" place where support files are expected to be found under OS X?
