Hi,

I would like to share with you the Skypic board:

It is a rather an old PIC-based board, developed mainly for teaching
electronics and microprocessor architecture at Universities. It was
designed in 2003 using Eagle. Now, we have migrated it into Kicad.

It is an open source board. All the schematics, pcb and Gerber files
are under the GPL licence. You can download this file[1] or directly
access to the SVN[2] repository.

We have manufactured 25 PCBs at ELATE.SA (in Spain) and everything
went fine

More information can be found on the web[3], but it is in spanish :-(
We still have not have time to translate it into English (sorry)

I would like to thank to all the Kicad developers for this wonderful
electronic tool and specially to Jean-Pierre Charras. Also I would like
to thank to Renie S.Marquet[4] for all the wonderful 3D models he have
made. Thank you very much.

The open hardware designs are "more open" when they are developed with
Kicad.

Best regards, Juan
