Kicad display is a little "dirty" and at times and you do need to redraw it.
However I run the Linux version... When I did run it on XP I ran into a couple of display issues, mainly driver problems, but mainly with wings. You might like to have a poke around in this area to see what is going on. The problem I had was that wings was setting the screen resolution to the values that the graphic card supported, rather that one that the monitor supported. So things got very confused. I found a useful utility called RivaTuner that enabled me to nail down exactly what graphics modes was available/used. I zapped any mode that the monitor did not support. A lot of problems then went away, not only with Kicad, but a couple of other apps as well. I'm wondering if things like colour depth, and some of the fancy display effects vista has, might be a factor. I know that others here are running kicad on Vista and I've not seen any reports such as yours. Andy On Fri, 04 Dec 2009 01:30:06 -0000 "mpayson" <[email protected]> wrote: > Anybody?
