I am having a similar problem. On my small board, the zone shows up fine in PCBNEW and 3D Viewer, but on my 2nd board, which is larger, it shows up in PCBNEW but not in 3D, and on my 3rd board, which is larger still, it doesnt I only get the zone outline in PCBNEW, but nothing in 3D.
I have asked this question a few times, but nobody seems able to answer this question. I think it maybe a graphics driver issue. Unfortunately for me, I am running Kicad on a DELL l545 laptop, which is less than a year old, and although I have updated to the latest drivers, it still doesnt help. I have even tried the Linux version, and it still happens.
