Thanks Patrick,

If I’we well understood, your method is :

1. On the existing project add a subsheet and copy the blocs you want
to this new sheet

2. Exit the existing project and copy the subsheet file to the new
project directory

3. Open this sheet and then copy the blocs to your new project

Is that right ?

Thanks

Stephane

I just create the new subsheet at the top, which will create a blank
schematic page, exit kicad, and then copy the preexisting stuff over the new
sheet.

It's really quite simple; Kicad doesn't have any hidden files -- with the
.sch files, what you see is what you get.

Pat

 Hi there,

I’m wondering how to export part of a schematic to a new project.

I want to reuse part of an existing project without having to redraw it
completely !

Is there a way ?

Best

Stephane
