Being totaly new in this group (signed in a few minutes ago) and with KICAD 
(since yesterday) i also found the lack of undo function a great problem !
It's a MUST BE for any creative software.
Let's hope the authors will add this function soon !

Otherwise, i'm happy with the software but must get familiar with it !
