I have so far created AND manufactured two boards using KICAD, and it works very well.
KICAD has a build in autorouter which is what I have used with great success. Please do this with the latest repo source code if you can build it, or wait until the next release, which should go beta within the month. The pathway to and from freerouter is vastly improved with the new netclass support. This is a very big deal for freerouter users. Dick
