If you provide VCC and GND nets in your power supply then they get 
automatically connected (same net) without wires on the schematic.
But if you have for example V+ in your power supply then you need to hook V+ to 
VCC somewhere and then they get also connected.
You do not need wires to tie VCC on one end of schematic to VCC on another end. 
Just naming the nets the same makes the connection.
