Answer to myself…. Found the bug, and bug it is !

In order to edit pads in the module editor on a selected components, the
concerned layers in PCBnew must be active.

in PCBnew, I had unticked the copper layer because I was working on the
component layer and then I couldn’t edit standard pads with copper on both
side, but only smd pads on component layer !

Ticking again all the layers solved the issue.

Just to know that one ….

Objet : [kicad-users] module editor bug ? Edit pad

Hi group,

I want to edit some pads in the module editor of some components already
created.

Most of the time the right click on the pad don’t show the Edit options. If
I create a new pad, it starts again at 2 as if the editor don’t know some
pads are created.

It happens with standard and own libs….

It seems there is a condition that I don’t find to reproduce the ‘bug’ but
cand find out what it is at the moment.

Any idea ?

Best

Stephane
