I've been meaning to post this for some time and the last message about two boards from a single schematic prompted me.
I've created a tabbed panel with two boards (from a single schematic). However the interface to FreeRoute won't let me export the board to the spectra DSN file. The error reported is 'Unable to find the next segment, please edit pcb_edges and make them contiguous" The error also reports the co-oridinates of the edge in question, which is my bottom left hand corner of the outside of my board, which for all I can see is totally enclosed, even when zoomed right in, same goes for all corners of the outside of my panel. BTW My panel is enclosed, i.e. it has a single continuous outside board outline that are my tooling strips. My two boards panelised within these enclosed tooling strips and are separated from these by a single 0.97" board outline, these are then separated with my drill tabs to give my board outlines. If needed I can post a picture of what I'm trying to explain. Currently using kicad windows 2010-05-05 BZR 2356 Stable on windows 7 In the end I manually routed the board by hand, but I would prefer to use the FreeRoute as I like the push and shove feature of tracks.
