If I have my project files on a network drive (Kicad Windows build, 2010-05-05 BZR 2356), I can't save the schematic library file (.lib) from the component editor. I can save the schematic file, the board file, the module file etc etc, but not the schematic library file. I just get a message "Failed to create component library file xxxxxx", then a second message "Error while saving library file xxxxxx".
If I copy all the files to hard disk or memory stick, everything works fine. So for now, I'm having to work from a local drive, then copy the files to the network drive regularly. Ideas anyone? Nick.
