Hi, splitting this from previous post since in fact I posted two issues in one thread.
I have some basic knowlege of kicad from some time back . Last time I used it I had no problem grouping and moving components. It seems this now longer works :? Web searching confirmed what I thought , that this is done by using the pointer tool and left mouse button to drag a rectangle around the bits I want to group. http://kicad.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Mini_tutorial#Drawing_the_Schematic_with_EeSchema <quote> left-clicking in selection mode lets you drag-select a rectangular region that can contain multiple objects. </quote> Oddly , dragging left-mouse does nothing .
