After having endless problems with Windows, I have decided to have a go at
using Ubuntu. I have downloaded Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and installed it along side
Windows 7. I want to install Kicad by using the source files, but no matter
what I try to do, it never works. I found this webpage
http://basicubuntu.blogspot.com/2009/02/installing-kicad-on-ubuntu.html and
tried to follow it, but when I get to the part that says to get "svn checkout
http://svn.flexserv.de/kicad/trunk/debian"; it can't find the webpage to
download the files from.

So how do I install the latest stable version on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS using the
source code???

A step by step guide would be very hellpfull

thanks

Andy
