I expect I can generate the comment blocks in the Python file and
insert them into the template instead.
I have already checked in a dirty fix that enables interpolation if a
comment starts with a [ or < character (see the use cases in your first
mail). This is similar to the mechanism that lets Kid swallow comments
completely if they start with a ! character.
Still, I don't feel these automagic rules are the right thing. We should
discuss this in Ticket 124.
