Getting started with kid, and most things makes sense (except the line 
numbers in "syntax error" messages that are off by a couple dozen). :)

In reading the docs, I can't find a way to use < and > in py:if 
expresions, such as:

<p py:if="len(ld) < 24">

It complains about invalid XML, which would make sense, if  the '<' 
wasn't in a quoted string.  Is there something simple I'm missing?
