I'm a big fan of Kid and use of on many apps via TurboGears.
I'm reading the Kid docs and trying to decode some Kid boilerplate that
TurboGears puts in my apps....

 <meta py:replace="item[:]"/>

I know from Kid docs that this replaces the meta element itself with contents
of an element referred to by "item". If I'm not mistaken, this replace the
meta element with the *contents* of the meta element? That seems weird so I'm
wondering if I'm missing something.

Thanks,

Chris
