Hi Yao,

As the KIM-Plugin's user guide http://www.ontotext.com/kim/plugin/guide.html
(that you have included in your install) says the IP:port in the config tab
of the plugin must point to the location of the Annotation Server (which is
part of the WebUI) i.e. the port is a HTTP port e.g. 80 or 8080 where you
run Tomcat resp. WebUI rather than the RMI port 1099 to the KIM server
itself. So, run KIM, Tomcat and WebUI and then try connecting the plugin to
localhost:8080 or whatever your Tomcat IP:port is.

Regards,
Ilian
