Hi Alan,
        Sorry for the delay, but i have been on the road for some time and my
colleagues at the KIM team are not receiving [EMAIL PROTECTED];
        I will ensure that someone looks at your issue tomorrow more
thoroughly. As initial input i would say:
The current public release of KIM is not Vista compatible, so the installer is
causing troubles.
On the other hand your particular issue seems to be that Tomcat has been
installed as service only, hence, no Catalina.bat.
One thing we have tried is to perform an installation of KIM under XP and then
port it to Vista. Which as far as i remember has worked.
Please let us know what are your options with other OSes and we will provide
more infor tomorrow.

Subject: another KIM installation problem

  I reinstalled Tomcat in a folder named with no spaces. Then I installed KIM.
 Had an error during installation. See attached Word document.

   Please advise.    Alan
