Hi everybody,

I have a few questions to ask. I have extended Proton ontology with mine
ontology that imports 7 other ontologies that together describes collections of
design patterns. I can find my classes in KIM IE plugin, as well as in KIM
ontology window.

  1) If I select some of classes on the KIM Ontology window I can browse their
properties on the right side of the window, but there are few classes that
always give me some error message:

"Found a problem while processing the request: There is a problem with KIM
Server or with Sesame.
If your browser do not redirect you automatically after 5 seconds - Click here!
"

It would be very usefull if you have any suggestions about what could be
possible problem.

  2) If I try to annotate some web page I never get any annotation based on my
extensions. I have tried to follow the tutorials about extending ontology, I
have cleaned populated/cache/.. as well as
%TOMCAT%/webapps/KIM/screen/script.inc, but nothing. I have created a few
instances of my classes and connected it with some aliasses and persons.
Actually, I did not understand very well from
http://www.ontotext.com/kim/semanticannotation.html about the way KIM
annotates the content. What does it use when annotating content? Does it uses
entity name, label, hasAlias property value or something else?

  3) I have 6 or 7 different namespaces in my ontologies. I think I have read
somewhere that instances should be kept in separate files based on the
subject's namespace. Is it necessary or I can join same instances if there is
only few of them?

  Regards
Zoran Jeremic
