Hi Steven, It appears to be a time consuming exercise - to turn KIM into a Windows service, which doesn't quite fit in our short-term engagements.
Currently we have implemented Windows service mode only for our population tool which is used to populate the documents in the KIM Server. May be if you provide us with more details about the environment in which you attempt to use the KIM Server and your use-case scenarios - we could think of appropriate workaround for now. Our medium term plans include release of new public version of the KIM Platform which - most probbably will include the service mode for running the KIM Server.
