Under Indonesia's private power programme, PT. YTL Jawa Timur operates and
maintains this 2 x 610 MW Coal-fired Power Station. The station is located
at Paiton, Probolinggo District of East Java, 141 km Southeast of Surabaya.
We currently have a vacancy for:
PROCUREMENT OFFICER (BUYER) Post Date: 27 Mar 07
The post-holder is responsible to the Procurement Team Leader for the
efficient and effective performance of the procurement function.
Candidates for this position should possess minimum qualifications and
competencies as follows:
* Minimum Diploma 3 years (D3) in relevant backgrounds from reputable
local University
* Minimum relevant 1 year experience in purchasing / supply chain
management in heavy industries
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa
Indonesia and English
* Basic knowledge of Power Plant business and its relevant equipment /
parts
* Basic knowledge of export import activities and Incoterms
* Basic knowledge of contract writing and management
* Good computer skills (minimum word processor and spreadsheet
application)
* Preferably has previous experience at supervisory level
* Honest, neat/organized, diligent, willing to work under pressure,
quick leaner.
Remuneration and benefits will be comparable with the best in this
industrial sector.
