The ideal candidate will have atleast 8 years of hands-on experience using SAP's Business Warehouse in areas such as Extractors for master data and transaction data, PSA,s, DSOs, InfoCubes, Queries, InfoSets, ABAP/4 and BEx reporting. This position requires a broad balance of soft skills such as communication, coordination, and organization to facilitate requirement gathering sessions in addition to hands on technical skills in areas such as developing data flow diagrams, data models, extractors, reports and testing. Job Description: - Develop and implement an effective and holistic Data Warehousing strategy that follows SAP and industry best practices. - Lead efforts with internal customers to analyze and translate business requirements and functional specifications into technical specifications, data flow diagrams and data models. - Lead efforts to implement SAP standard content where possible to satisfy Business requirements or enhance/customize where necessary. - Design and develop extractors, DSOs, cubes and reports including the use of ABAP where necessary. - Work collaboratively with Project managers to develop work plans and realize stated milestones/deliverables on time and on budget. - Coordinate/Delegate technical activities, tasks, milestones and deliverables to assigned project resources or perform activities where necessary. - Lead and participate in the creation of BI/BW development standards while adhering to department policies, methodologies, standards and guidelines. - Proactively and effectively communicate potential problems, recommended solutions and progress.
