Position: QA Engineer with manual testing and Tandem experience in their Mainframe platform for a 6 month contrac Location: Denver, CO Length: 6+ months Rate: Open
Our Client is seeking a QA Engineer with manual testing and Tandem experience in their Mainframe platform for a 6 month contract. The position requires: Tandem Testing Experience Brokerage and/or Securities processing experience. (Other financial experience may be an adequate substitute) Experience with the creation and use of test documents; i.e. test plans, test status/summary documents, and defect tracking tickets. Experience in a QA environment utilizing Client Server, Internet, mainframe and SQL. Pathway Server Configuration Experience with SQL Queries. Self-starter. Need to work with little direction. Ability to perform test planning and design. Ability to perform design and development validation tests of software programs in accordance with established departmental ISO 9001 procedures. Ability to perform activities associated with the control of design and development changes by identifying non-conformance to requirements and facilitating problem resolutions with other departments. Ability to perform activities associated with the department's monitoring and measurement of product procedures by reporting testing status as required and maintaining related records. Ability to perform activities associated with the control of nonconforming product in accordance with established departmental procedures. The consultant would be responsible for testing software related to government reporting, i.e. 1099s, 1042s, IRA, etc. (Any experience in these areas would be a plus.) Also, this role involves manual testing so test automation is not required.
