Job title : Web Sphere Portal Architect Location : Cincinnati, OH Contract Length : 8 months Job Description: . Lead the design, planning, development and implementation of a Web Sphere Portal upgrade . Provide guidance to the client and Sogeti team on the architecture and design Skill set description: Technical Profile . Demonstrable hands on experience in functional and technical architecture, design and development in WebSphere Portal and Web Content Management on version 6.x . Hands-on, recent experience in portal design and portlet development, including JSR 168 port let specifications, WSRP, inter-portlet communications and portlet security . Solid experience and skills in integrating LDAP, Active Directory & SQL Server into IBM Web Sphere Portal/WCM 6.x for Single Sign On . Strong experience with J2EE architecture and development using WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Portal Server, WebSphere Portlet Factory, JSF, Servlets, Portlets, EJB, Web Services, XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, Patterns/Frameworks, JDBC/ODBC, UML modeling & OOD skills, and J2EE integration points with external or third party products . Strong experience with the object-oriented analysis and design, especially the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and Rational tools . WebSphere certifications strongly preferred Experience Profile . Minimum 5 years experience implementing web technologies, experience using Java and J2EE on the WebSphere platform . Minimum 2 years and recent experience with architecture and design experience specifically with WebSphere Portal 5.x and 6.x and Web Content Management . Minimum 1 full life cycle, large portal project experience serving as technical lead and architect Consultative Profile .
