Purpose:  Responsible for Target Corporations external financial
reporting (EFR) functions including the following four major areas:

    * Responsible for managing the preparation and filing of quarterly
and annual SEC filings, including
          o Annual Report
          o Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A)
          o Financial Statements
    * Responsible for managing the preparation, validation, and
distribution of Target Corporation’s quarterly earnings release and
related senior management supporting schedules.
    * Responsible for analyzing new accounting and reporting guidance
issued by the FASB, SEC, EITF and other standard setting bodies to
determine implication on financial operations and reporting and for
communicating these issues to key management.
    * Responsible for working with external auditors during the audit
process and as issues arise.

 * Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

    * 4-Year college degree - Accounting, Business, or Economics
    * CPA, with 6-8 years of experience in a Big 4 Public Accounting
Firm
    * Management experience
    * Demonstrated, strong technical accounting skills
    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    * Ability to establish and maintain a positive work environment
    * Strong client service perspective
    * Proven decision making and analytical skills
    * Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and credibility
    * Desired Requirements
    * Retail accounting experience
    * SEC reporting experience
    * MBA
