*Position: Linux Engineer* *Location: Columbus, OH* *Rate: $35/hr Max* *Duration: 10+ months* *****Note: The consultant would not be doing admin duties but be a part of the virtualization and build team.* * * The position is geared more towards Linux and Oracle (Build and implement Linux based projects, specifically for WaMu integration of PeopleSoft and Oracle RAC Farm) *General Notes:* Must have large/enterprise environment experience and have worked in a virtual environment. Lots of SAN and VMWare experience is also important. RAC project coming along, any clustering (RAC ideal, any helps) experience key. *Linux Skills ():* RedHat Enterprise Linux 4 (Version 5 coming along later, not that important now). Couple of very large Oracle RAC projects coming along so clustering key again. My account manager said they want someone who is at the engineer level. They would not be doing admin duties but be apart of the virtualization and buid team.
