I have an immediate need with this one. This position is located in Plano, TX and the client is looking for local candidates only (Plano/ Dallas area). Needed: HP-UX Admin Skills Required: • Daily administration of HP-UX server environment; • The design, development, and implementation of the HP-UX Enterprise Build for HP-UX B.11.11, B.11.23, and B.11.31 on both PaRisc and Itanium. These builds are also used for the 1UP (SAP-based) servers. • The design, development, and implementation of the patch management process. • The linkage between UNIX Engineering and Security Management Teams for HP-UX. As security threats are identified, determine the most appropriate methodology for retrofitting the existing HP-UX environment, as well as ensure that these security threats are fixed in the Enterprise Build. • The design, development, and implementation of the HP-UX disaster recovery process. Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and on-site Account Support Manager during either an actual or test disaster recovery effort.
