*Need: EMC Clarion specialist. * *Duration: 6 months * *contract opportunity * *Opportunities are in the CT/NY/MA area* East coast applicant will be in the first priority Engineer for EMC Clarion with the ability to troubleshoot LAN/MAN/WAN and other network related problems. Provide technical expertise for performance and configuration of networks. Performs general LAN/MAN/WAN administration. Provides technical leadership in the integration and test of complex large-scale computer-integrated networks. *Qualifications: * Minimum/General Experience: · Six years experience of which three years must be specialized and includes protocol analysis, knowledge of OSI protocols particularly TCP/IP. · Experience and detailed knowledge of UNIX/WINDOWS operating systems. · Specialized experience also includes supervising the operation and maintenance of communication network systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based. · Implement and maintain storage infrastructure standards, investigate and test new technologies and products for possible implementation in a large multi-terabyte data warehouse infrastructure. · Experience with storage file servers in an integrated Unix/Windows environment, Network Appliance and SNAP Vault/Mirror application experience a plus. · Knowledge, skills, and ability with Solaris and/or Windows 2003 sever administration, NAS, SAN, iSCSI, and Veritas NetBackup software and volume configuration. · Must have TS/SCI Clearance.
