Kernel: i think its 2.6
MySQL version: 5.0
 
error 2002 is about mysql not starting because a certain file "/something/mysql.sock" is not found... had the file created but to no avail...
i will try n firewall thing... that might be the problem.... any way... open for still some more suggestion...
 
fyi: tried the manual but to no avail....
