It would be better if you'll break the subject down. If you say "The latest OS", which OS? there are so many flavors of linux OS, and all have their differences. However, they are basically based on something , like for example Ubuntu Linux, which is a debian based OS. Now, this is one way to start on how to go about doing this thing.
