Any Administrator could attest that embarking onto a migration path generally requires a lot of thorough planning and consideration with the premise of committing as little error as possible and making the migration a little less painfull for both the admins and the users. However, we all know that migrating from one OS to another is not just an overnight sensation. Do it well, or don't do it.
I just finished reading an article that might highlight some things that most admins can look into specially in migrating a MS-centric environment. Read it at http://www.serverwatch.com/tutorials/article.php/3650561 I learned something while reading it. Ever heard of Samba's "Vampire" command? Yeah I thought so too.. :) -- "A dog that has no bite, barks loudest." Registered Linux User #400165 Subscribed to: LARTC, Open-ITLUG, PRUG, KLUG, sybase.public.ase.linux
