I think those are SuSE Linux 9.3 or 10.0 desktops. And I think also that those are from Liceo. I have constant communication with Sir Manny Orbeta, and yes they are using OpenSuSE and Ubuntu on various desktops while relying on Linux heavily on the backend.
I think they're now doing research into Novell Open Enterprise Server to provide directory services, with support for synchronization with Active Directory, support for Radius authentication, Netware services for later integration, etc. with as few machines as possible.
