no need to do anything on your server or uncomment a line on your httpd.conf,
xampp will work upon install. Just use the ip address on your server as the
hostname or the server name. if you have named service configured then you
can use friendly names. But if you are planning to use virtuals hosts, thats
the time you will be uncommenting your httpd.conf line at (i think its
uncommented by default, not sure)

# Virtual hosts
Include conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf

and edit the file with your corresponding virtual host configurations. if
you would like the other pc outside your local nework to access your server,
will need to set port forwarding rules on your router, forwarding all
packets with port 80 or any to your local xampp server.
