Yes I agree. Reading blogs are fun because posters will tend to add their own opinion and views (like what I am doing). That gives color to the article and just hoping that the added side comments will not make the post unreliable. Therefore, to get the most first hand info about an announcement, it really is imperative to get the info directly from the source :).
