Im proud to announce that Negros Oriental Linux Users Group (NegOrLUG) reborn
is organizing an upcoming interschool open source programming competition, its
open to all schools here in Negros Oriental, teams will take on a certain
problem and will be judged on how they solve the problem using open source
tools such as linux / php / mysql and how they present it to the client, a cash
prize of 25,000 pesos will be given to the winning team and a custom built
trophy will be given to the school that they represent.
More of the details and contest updates will be posted in a blog that I will be
creating once the contest has finished its orientation phase. This is being
backed up by 2 big companies which will be revealed during the contest proper.
