You are using Virtual PC? what was the graphics card type that was declared
by Virtual PC? virtual devices are not  the same as true physical devices.
VMWare and Xen (hypervisors) do this and they use virtual devices available
to the guest OS while the hypervisor talks to the device through the host os
or directly.
