Korek!

My additional suggestions are the following:

[1] Don't cover the advanced topics when no one will appreciate it.
[2] Decide first who will be your target audience and from there, you
can decide what type of topics you want to cover on your conference.
[3] Make it affordable and comes with a more usable or informational kits.
[4] Make the conference more interactive.
[5] Make sure that your speakers will cover more usable technical
information than selling their own products.

Good luck! =)
