Write test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems. 9. Evaluate software and hardware solutions 2. Develop web-based and/or desktop-based solutions 3. Document software specifications throughout the project life cycle. 4. Code for efficiency, speed and maintainability 5. Responsible for performing unit, string, regression & stress testing 6. Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion 7. Design, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications. 8. Provide software training to users from time to time 9. Provide support to other departments 10. Provide status reports. 11. Determine, Monitor and Enforce project timelines 12. Perform Research and Development of cutting-edge technologies 13. Provide technical feasibility evaluation *Education * 1. Graduate of any 4 year IT or Computer related course 2. Preferrably CS, MIS, Engineering, IT courses 3. Diploma course welcome *Experience * 1. New Graduates welcome. Preferably at least 1 year in applications development 2. Competencies 3. Preferably having - HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, VB 6, PostgreSQL, Database Design and Optimization, Internet Technologies, LAN/WAN, POS * * *TESTERS* 1. Plan, design, architect, and deploy effective test suites and regimes for in-house product development, software application development, information system launches, and operations systems enhancements 2. Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently. 3. Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate, and resolve systems/software application issues through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of IT investments and initiatives. 4. Reviews new or modified program, including documentation, diagram, and flow chart, to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines. 5. Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers. * * *TECHNICAL WRITER* 1. The Technical Writer's role is to develop written information about the organization's computing systems that aid in their development, use, and support. Outputs will include a range of documents to be read by both technical and non-technical personnel across all departments.
