Sirs, maybe a trimmed down edubuntu might work, and considering na
elementary kids, UNR might help to simplify things for them. That is,
if you have the time for the effort...

Hello List,
I'm looking for a linux distro that would work with this PC Spec
300 - 500 MHz
128 - 256 mb ram
32mb video card
unit(s) will be used by elementary students.
I was thinking of using xubuntu (xfce) or ubuntu lite (lxde) but I
don't know if this would work on this spec. I haven't received the
units yet to test them out.
or should I use edubuntu using ltsp. thanks
