The Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) is
pleased to announce June as National ICT Month. The celebration is
pursuant to Proclamation Number 1521, issued by Her Excellency President
Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in May 2008, declaring June of every year as
National ICT Month.

National ICT Month is placed under the auspices of the Commission on
Information and Communications Technology (CICT), which is the lead
government agency tasked to plan, promote and oversee the country's ICT
development. The CICT enjoins all government agencies and industry
partners to celebrate National ICT Month with activities that will help
promote and further strengthen the competitiveness of the Philippine ICT
industry.

We would like to invite you to inform the CICT of any events (conferences,
seminars/trainings, exhibits), which you may be organizing to celebrate
this year's ICT month. These will be included in a calendar of activities
that the CICT will be posting on our website for the information of the
general public. Please email to Ms. Gemma PeƱalosa at [email protected].
For other inquiries, you may call telephone nos. 4261526 or 9271714.

Thank you.
