Greetings, PhRUG! A couple of friends and I started a site called *NullPointer.ph*. It is a *knowledge exchange platform created to foster the growth of the Filipino Developer community*. For those of you who are familiar with StackOverflow.com, you will notice that everything is almost the same - *it is a Question and Answer site with a reputation system*. In fact, NullPointer.ph is running on a similar code base as that of Stack Overflow. You might be wondering why we still created NullPointer.ph when there's already Stack Overflow. Again, the site will be focused on the Filipino Developer community. We're planning to promote it to companies and universities. Our aim is for NullPointer.ph to become a valuable resource for local (and foreign) companies to discover local developer talents that fit their organization through the reputation system. NullPointer.ph also provides aspiring developers a valuable resource that can fast-track their learning by having immediate access to the minds of the experienced. This was something that I felt was missing during my college years. And now, the right and probably the best answers to your dev problems are at your fingertips. This is also your chance to showcase your problem-solving skills and tell the rest of the dev community that you're better than the average programmer. Reach 10,000 reputation points before the others. Or better yet, reach 100,000 reputation points and be NullPointer.ph's counterpart of Jon Skeet (the first Stack Overflow user to reach 100k). Be discovered by companies this way! There's more to NullPointer than I can explain here. The best way would be to explore the site and start engaging with other developers. Ask your questions. Post answers. Found a good answer? Vote it up. Found a bad one? Vote it down. Show your awesomeness as a developer. Remember, it should all be about *programming*. Ask about Java, PHP, Ruby on Rails, Oracle, MySQL, AJAX, HTML, etc. What are you waiting for?
