Bug ID: 506547 Summary: aqBanking missing after update to 5.2.0 Classification: Applications Product: kmymoney Version First 5.2.0 Reported In: Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: onlinebanking Assignee: kmymoney-devel@kde.org Reporter: AbnormalHumanDev@abnormalbeings.space Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Just sat down to do my finances and some budget planning, and the settings are suddenly missing the aqBanking item, which before appeared at the bottom of the menu. I checked the changelog and did a quick online search, which did not yield a clear result to me why that could be the case. Aqbanking is installed, as per my package manager (I’m on Garuda Linux, so, Arch based), and everything worked before the update. Nothing that looks right appears in the plugin list of KMyMoney, and there does not seem to be a way to add more plugins from within that menu. My accounts are still shown as mapped to something - as I get the option to “unmap account”, but I cannot, as before the update, use the “update account” function to get a statement from my bank automatically, as before: It’s not critical at this point, but I really enjoyed using KMyMoney and was very well used to the workflow I had established with it - so any help would be appreciated (including, perhaps pointing something obvious out to me I may have missed). STEPS TO REPRODUCE Sadly I cannot in detail provide much more steps besides the vague: 1. Installing KMyMoney on Garuda Linux via pamac a few weeks ago and using it with a saved dataset I established long ago 2. updating the system via garuda-update today (2025/07/03) 3. try to update online accounts or access aqBanking settings OBSERVED RESULT There are no aqBanking settings, and "Update Account" is grayed out for all accounts EXPECTED RESULT Getting online bank statements after being prompted for password and optionally TAN SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: N/A macOS: N/A (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: Garuda Linux (Arch Based) KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.15.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Just because it was given by kinfo anyway as well: Kernel Version: 6.14.9-zen1-1-zen (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland The awbanking package my package manager shows as being installed: aqbanking 6.6.0-2 I also posted about this on lemmy.kde.social, so some discussion could theoretically happen there, but I will try to update any findings here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
