Bug ID: 507210 Summary: With 5.2 there is the ability to open multiple Ledgers and to have Favorites to always open with a new session Classification: Applications Product: kmymoney Version First 5.2.0 Reported In: Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kmymoney-devel@kde.org Reporter: mfcarp...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- *** With the release of 5.2 the Ledgers tab allows to open multiple accounts open. As well as to have Favorites that open during a new session of KMyMoney. When multiple accounts are opened and KMyMoney is closed and then reopened all opened Ledgers reappear. I'm not exactly sure of the primary intent of having the Favorites setting but by simply not closing accounts in the Ledger would provide the same result. I'm sure there's a reason that I'm not aware of. What would be nice is to have an additional setting that the user could turn on that would close automatically all the Ledgers except for the Favorites when KMyMoney is closed/shutdown. I would think that some users would like to keep all Ledgers open upon closing but I would like to only have my Favorites open at the start of a new session. I find myself having to close multiple ledgers by clicking the "X" for each account that I've opened. Sometimes I forget that I have many Ledgers opened during a session and upon closing and rerunning KMymoney there they are and I don't need those Ledgers as I forgot to close them at the last session *** SUMMARY Implement a setting to close Ledgers that are not Favorites upon shutdown of KMyMoney STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Account Ledgers 2. Close KMyMoney 3. Reopening KMyMoney and all Ledgers remain open EXPECTED RESULT Implement a setting to close all Ledgers that are open that are not Favorites.
