In 5.2.0/5.2.1, the transaction form is not used for entering new transactions,
which is now done directly in the ledger.
I am unable to replicate this problem. When entering a new transaction, if I
type a new payee name in the payee field, when I leave that field by hitting
TAB or clicking in another field, I get the popup asking if I want to add the
new payee. If I say Yes, the payee gets added, and I can continue to enter the
data for the new transaction. If I say No, the payee does not get added, and
the prompt is left in the Payee field.
If you continue to have the problem, please specify exactly what you are doing
once you enter the new name - each click or keystroke.
