Minor point: when replying to a bug by email, please first remove everything,
unless it is important to show exactly what you are replying to.  Your entire
email becomes the next comment in the bug.
I agree that does look pretty bad - and it is notably different from what I see
on Linux.  To be clear, I see two main difference - the background of the entry
fields is blue on Windows and white on Linux, and edited text is white on
Windows and remains black on Linux.  (and yes, white on white would be even
worse.)
 I know there have been some Windows specific issues regarding colors and
layouts - you are not by any chance using a dark theme?  If so, see if changing
that gives a better result.  If that is the case, then we can pursue the
problem as related to how Windows handles dark themes.  If it's no better, we
can try figuring out why Windows displays that form different from Linux.
