knotc conf-set zone example.com
I completely understand, but it is a solution just for your simple case.
However, you can use this equivalent notation:
knotc conf-set zone.domain example.com
But the following different commands cannot be similarly simplified,
since it would be confusing or ambiguous:
knotc conf-set zone[example.com].master master1 master2
knotc conf-get zone[example.com]
knotc conf-get zone.master
Is there a better character combination than the square brackets?
