  • Created physical and logical standby database from hot backup of primary database to protect mission critical from any failures errors or corruptions.
  • Extensively worked on the performance tuning of the database with focus on Application tuning, Memory tuning and elimination of database contentions and perform I/O tuning.
  • Created scripts to query performance views in an effort to reduce parse times and tune memory structures such as the database buffer cache, shared pool, library cache and PGA.
  • Experienced in applying Patches and Migration of databases and creating managing standby databases.
  • Experienced in handling Production support, pre-production, cert,          UAT and Development environment.
  • Experienced in third party tools like Quest SQL Navigator, TOAD and SQL developer.
  • Experienced in development, deployment in Oracle Application server.
