Requirement Number: 69442 Assignment Location:Redmond, Washington Job Title: Software Design Engineer 3 Skills: C#; OLAP; SQL Descriptions: Required: TSQL: sprocs, triggers, tables, views and so on MS SQL internal knowledge: index's, partitioning, perf tuning and so on Hardcore Database Development (OLAP cubes, etc) Soft Skills: Good communication and problem solving skills Must be able to communicate with PM's Business Analytical mind-set Develops software programs of a complex nature, including operating systems, applications and/or network products for external use. Develops project plans, functional specifications and schedules for these products. Designs and performs analysis on complex programs and systems. Assists in determining product requirements and enhancements. The new hire will be assigned with specific work items for releases, mostly SQL tasks but sometimes C#, XSLT or others. The work items are not specific but are mostly short and achievable in a few hours and should not be more than a couple of days. For one to be successful in our group, we expect great SQL technical strengths, creativeness and collaborations. The contract can last as long as 1 year and start date is flexible but as soon as possible. Overtime is not permitted until the new hire can fully contribute. He/she should spend his/her own time learning the required skills and knowledge. We are extremely busy at the end of the releases. Working over the weekend is rare just several times a year. A good work life balance is still possible if the hire can proactively complete tasks and resolve issues early on. They have a lot of FTE positions that qualified contractors are welcome to apply.
